What Tool is Used to Detect Thermal Energy?
Thermal energy meters are used in industry to measure thermal energy. Common instruments include: ultrasonic thermal energy meter, electromagnetic thermal energy meter and vortex thermal energy meter. They consist of three parts: flow sensor, temperature sensor and heat integrator.
What is a Thermal Energy Meter?
The thermal energy meter is used to measure the heat released or absorbed by water flow. The thermal energy meter is installed at the inlet or outlet of the heat exchange circuit. It is an intelligent thermal energy meter used to accurately measure and charge the heat consumption in heating facilities.
Working principle: The thermal energy meter is installed in the heat exchange system. When water flows through the system, the flow sensor displays the flow rate and the supply and return water temperature given by the paired temperature sensor, as well as the time the water flows through. The heat released or absorbed by the system is calculated and displayed by the calculator.
