SI-210 Electronic Flow Switch Introduction

Electronic flow switches are different from mechanical flow switches. Electronic flow switches require power supply, generally 24VDC. There are many principles: turbine, electromagnetic, thermal, ultrasonic, etc. Any flow meter with a switch output can be called an electronic flow switch. When there are high requirements for monitoring liquid flow, electronic flow switches are the right choice.

The core part is still a durable flow meter. Flow meters are reliable in many application fields. The flow meter provides a frequency signal proportional to the flow rate and transmits it to the microprocessor. Monitor the set minimum flow rate and trigger the alarm contact when the flow rate decreases. The electronic flow switch set point adjustment is very easy and accurate, with a wide set point range.

What is the Electronic Flow Switch Working Principle?

SI-210 Electronic Flow Switch is based on the thermal principle. Two resistors are contained in the closed probe. One of them is heated as a detection resistor, and the other is not heated as a reference resistor. When the medium flows, the heat on the heated resistor is taken away. The resistance value is changed, and the difference between the two resistors is used as the basis for judging the flow rate.
