Flow Segmentation Method of Intelligent Oval Gear Flow Meter
The flow coefficient of a flowmeter varies at different flow rates. Especially at the minimum flow rate, the difference is large, which affects its range ratio. The electronic meter head can effectively overcome this problem by using flow segmentation comparison, as explained below:
- When the actual instantaneous flow rate is ≤L05, use L00 as the pulse equivalent
- When L05<actual instantaneous flow rate ≤L06, use L01 as the pulse equivalent
- When L06<actual instantaneous flow rate ≤L07, use L02 as the pulse equivalent
- When L07<actual instantaneous flow rate ≤L08, use L03 as the pulse equivalent
- When the actual instantaneous flow rate>L08, use L04 as the pulse equivalent
If the flow segmentation function is not used, only one pulse equivalent is used, and L09 is set to 0. At this time, the instrument uses L00 as the pulse equivalent regardless of the flow rate.

- Cut-off device: It can control the pump, solenoid valve and electric valve of the pipeline individually or simultaneously. When there are multiple outputs, it can be converted into multiple channels. When controlling the pump, it is necessary to know the power of the pump and add a contactor on site. The coil power supply of the contactor is completed by the controller. The solenoid valve is added because it plays the role of stopping and opening immediately, which is conducive to improving the control accuracy.
