Dual Range Torque Sensor CL1 205

Dual Range Torque Sensor integrates a speed sensor. Signal transmission is contactless. The sensor has built-in digital signal conditioning. It can directly output analog or digital output signals. It is suitable for laboratory research and development, product production and quality control.

  • Customizable
  • Both ends are keyed
  • The speed can reach 1800RPM and can reach 4000RPM for a short time.
  • Resistance strain is an integrated product composed of sensitive components and integrated circuits.
  • Both ends are connected by keys
  • Dual range design
  • Non-contact wireless input and output
  • Can detect positive and reverse torque, speed and power
  • No need to adjust zero repeatedly
  • Built-in speed sensor
  • Supports multiple output torque signals

Dual Range Torque Sensor Introduction

Traditional torque sensors have only a single range. When performing small torque tests, the test error will be much larger than the instrument calibration error. It results in no reference value for the test results. Torque sensor manufacturers divide the large-range torque sensor hardware into dual ranges. When performing small torque tests in the motor test system, switch the test range to the small range. The advantage of this is that the test is more accurate.

New energy industry: accurate measurement of motor output torque

More Detail

What is the Problem with the Torque Sensor?

Common faults of torque sensors:

Abnormal output value: discontinuous or unstable data. Even unable to provide data.

System alarm: The sensor detects a problem trigger. It may be a visual, sound or electronic message prompt.

Abnormal temperature: The temperature is too high or too low. Overheating may be caused by internal circuit problems or the external environment. Too low may be caused by disconnected wires or damaged components.

Physical damage: Cracks, deformation, corrosion, etc. indicate that the sensor is damaged or aged.

Calibration deviation: Frequent recalibration is required to maintain accuracy. There may be internal problems.

Solution:

  • Check the power supply and connections to ensure that the power supply is normal and all connections are secure.
  • Calibrate the sensor and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Replace damaged parts. Purchase new parts based on the sensor design and the manufacturer’s recommendations.
  • Check environmental conditions to ensure that the sensor is in a suitable working environment.
  • Perform regular maintenance, clean the surface, check connections, calibrate, and replace worn parts.

What is the Difference between a Cadence Sensor and a Torque Sensor?

(1) Different measurement objects:

Torque sensors measure the size and direction of the torque on an object. Cadence sensors measure the pedaling frequency of the rider.

(2) Different application scenarios:

Torque sensors are more commonly used in strength training, automotive power systems and other fields. Cadence sensors mainly serve cyclists.

(3) Different data value:

The data provided by torque sensors can help athletes analyze power output and technical movements. Cadence sensors focus more on cycling efficiency and rhythm adjustment.

Torque sensors and cadence sensors are two key technologies in sports technology. They each play an irreplaceable role in sports monitoring and analysis. These two sensors will become more and more intelligent and refined. They provide more powerful support for athletes’ training and competition.
