What are the 4 Types of Temperature Sensors?
Four types of temperature sensors:
Thermocouple sensor: The Thermocouple sensor is simple to assemble and easy to replace. It is a spring-type temperature sensing element with good shock resistance. Its measurement range is large, generally -200℃~1300℃. In special cases, the lowest measurement temperature can reach -270℃ and the highest measurement temperature can reach 2800℃. In addition, thermocouple sensors have high mechanical strength, good pressure resistance, simple manufacturing process, and low price. They can be seen in many fields.
Thermistor sensor: The main features of thermistor are high sensitivity, resistance temperature coefficient is more than ten times larger than that of metal, and wide working range. At present, it can measure up to 2000℃ and the lowest can measure -273℃. And thermistor is small in size, easy to use, easy to process into complex shapes, and can be mass-produced.
Resistance temperature detector: Resistive temperature detector is one of the most accurate temperature sensors. It not only provides good accuracy, but also provides excellent stability and repeatability. Resistance temperature detector is also relatively resistant to electrical noise, so it is very suitable for temperature measurement in industrial environments, especially around motors and generators and other high-voltage equipment.
IC temperature sensor: IC temperature sensor includes analog output and digital output. Common analog temperature sensors include LM3911, LM335, AD22103 voltage output type, AD590 current output type, etc. The output digital signal is compatible with the microprocessor MCU. The duty cycle of the output voltage square wave signal can be calculated through the high-frequency sampling of the processor, and the temperature can be obtained.

What is the Difference between a Flow Switch and a Flow Sensor?
The flow switch is mainly used to display and monitor the flow of liquid and gas media. The flow switch has high switching accuracy and functional safety, and low switching hysteresis. It can be set by the operator to continuously switch points. The role of the flow switch is equivalent to the duty officer, and the status of the flow can be monitored in real time. When the flow exceeds or falls below the preset value, a corresponding switch signal will be issued, or the equipment will be indirectly controlled. Such as the start and stop of the pump.
The flow sensor is a device that determines the flow by detecting changes in the speed, pressure difference, vibration, etc. of the medium flowing through the pipeline. It is small in size, high in accuracy, easy to install and fast in response. Flow sensors are usually divided into two types: contact and non-contact. Among them, non-contact flow sensors are suitable for measuring media such as liquids and gases with certain corrosiveness.
Flow switches are mainly used to monitor and control flow. Flow meters are used to directly measure the flow size of the medium. Flow sensors are devices that determine flow by detecting changes in the speed, pressure difference, vibration, etc. of the medium flowing through the pipeline.
