More Detail

What is the Purpose of an Inline Rotary Torque Sensor?

1. Monitoring and measuring torque:

The most basic function of a torque sensor is to measure and monitor torsional torque. This is essential to ensure the normal operation of mechanical systems. It avoids overload protection and improves efficiency.

⒉ Control system:

In automatic control systems, torque sensors can provide real-time feedback on the torque status of the system. It helps adjust and optimize system parameters.

3. Protect mechanical equipment:

By monitoring torque, sensors can help avoid overload. It protects mechanical equipment from damage.

4. Improve energy efficiency:

In applications that require torque adjustment. Such as motors and engines, torque sensors help improve energy efficiency.

5. Ensure safety:

In certain high-risk applications. such as automobiles and aircraft, torque sensors can ensure the safety of operation. Prevent potential dangers by monitoring torque.

How do you Calibrate an Inline  Rotary Torque Sensor?

1. Debugging and calibration:

  • Zero calibration: Adjust the zero point under the no-load state.
  • Range calibration: Use standard weights to load and adjust the range parameters.
  • Dynamic filtering: Adjust the filter parameters according to environmental vibration.
  • 2. Torque sensor precautions:
  • Do not operate with power on and avoid collision with the sensor.
  • Check the tightness of the wiring and coupling regularly.
  • During high-precision calibration, attention should be paid to the connection quality to avoid coaxiality errors.
